Packing away baby girls clothes as she reached 6 months today. I hate this. Not because it takes awhile to round up and pack everything away but because the clothes represent a time that was. She'll never again be able to wear those little summer dresses or the halloween fairy costume (that cost a small fortune) or the special little holiday dress my mom got her. It's bittersweet. My little baby is getting bigger. Now I guess it's time to go shopping.

It's Christmastime!!!

Christmas is almost here, only 3 more days to go! Colten is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mr. Claus and Victoria, who was brought to us by the good Lord in June, will be just under 6 months old so she is still too little to really know what is going on. That small fact however will not make her amount of presents under the tree any less. Especially since Nana Madaline and Papa Tony are here from Germany to celebrate the holidays with us.
I haven't gone all out with the decorating this year. Having a new baby makes you less detail oriented for some reason. We have our faux tree in the formal living room, a small, cut, five foot fir in the great room and a tiny 24" white faux (fifties style) on the breakfast bar. Colten is very proud of his three trees.
We shall be visiting lots of family over Christmas weekend so (hopefully) I will update with lots of pictures! Merry Christmas!
